Two Gables Addition, 2009
In 2009, MEB Architects was commissioned to
design a new security fence for the historic “Two Gables” estate
originally designed by noted east coast architect H.T. Lindeberg
in 1910 and later renovated in 1929 by David Adler. In 2003, MEB
Architects was instrumental in the historic renovation of the
original estate and the design of a significant addition. The
design of the fence incorporated the architectural vocabulary of Lindeberg and Adler, providing security while maintaining the
visual connection between the six acre property and the Lake
Forest community.
