This home is one of the original 14 homes in Henry K. Turnbull’s 1920’s Deerpath Hill Estates in Lake Forest. This subdivision was to provide the best of English and American architecture on one acre “mini estates” in West Lake Forest. In 2004, the home was designated a Lake Forest landmark and in 2006 the subdivision was placed on the National Register of Historic Places. In 2008, MEB Architects was commissioned to design a one and half story kitchen and breakfast room addition consistent with the simple but elegant massing and detailing of this French Normandy home.
