The historic Noble Judah carriage house was designed in 1925 by David Adler and later converted to a full-time residence in 1949. The later additions and fenestration modifications by Jerome Cerney were out of harmony with the original rhythm, massing, and design aesthetic conceived by Adler.

In 2008, our task was to restore the original structure to its former splendor by removing the unwanted additions and exterior modifications and strategically adding on contemporary living spaces, all the while being true to the architectural vocabulary of Adler and his interpretation of the French Normandy architectural style. This stunning 21st-century estate home, with its harmonized but distinct portions, is the ultimate fusion of the historic and the novel. The end result is seamless and timeless.
